Still waiting

Well... notice the date on this post and my last post. It has been TWO months. We are still waiting. It took a over a month to get the purchase agreement back from HUD... then we had to change our financing because we can't turn the water on... then we waited two weeks before hearing back that our new financing is ok... now we're waiting for the lender to give a clear to close so we can schedule closing... It will be sometime before June 14th... or we'll have to file for an extension. *sigh*

Someday... 

(I went back to see the house a little while back and things were blooming... I wish I'd have taken a picture of that.)

Next we meet with our realtor, sign a bunch of papers, send then to southfield, get them back, get an inspection... I'm not sure what else, and close. THEN OUR HOUSE!!!! :D

EXCITED!!

I talked to the mortgage guy today and found out that we can TOTALLY do this. We can buy a house. Made an appointment with the realtor to see the two houses that we really like in Brighton. See the last post for the links... the three bedroom house on 2 acres? Used to be my Mom's grandparents' house! Yea!

I'll post some pictures once we actually go see it on the inside. :D

Okay, it is our turn now. This is the current life plan, subject to change.

1) House - (we have a couple contenders)

2/3) Baby - (I asked for a baby for my 25th birthday :D)

2/3) Cookie business - (I have an awesome plan, still working out the details and the house should help with those.)

How funny that they are the same price... the smaller one has a full basement.

Our goal is to meet with a mortgage guy soon... if you've ever heard of our schedules you will know why this is a difficult thing. :)
